    Worth the $160? cheaper alternative?

    I love my R1 pullover, probably my favorite 3-season insulated layer. Really like the front-zip and hood feature. However, Patagonia stuff is expensive.

    There are other fleece hoodies out there on the market, but if you want to get a R1 pullover, I suggest watching on eBay or some holiday sales coming up. You might find one closer to $100 or cheaper.

    Bit the bullet. Glad I did. Fits great. Hood great. Pricey but should never have to buy another.
