    Just started looking at PCT videos.Very cool stuff.Why does it seem that all hikers are NOBO's and none are SOBO?

    The NOBO hike is a very difficult, long, time-consuming, expensive hike. It can be terribly fun and social if you want it to be.

    The SOBO hike is even more difficult, just as long, just as expensive, but less time consuming because you need to hike MUCH faster. You won't see anywhere near as many people. Most of the SOBO's I met were a little odd. I wouldn't consider going SOBO unless you don't like people.

    Just my opinion!
