Default Any 2016 New Jersey Thru Hikers?

In addition to myself, just wondering if there are any other New Jersey residents attempting a thru-hike this year (2016). If so, would welcome the opportunity to get together, compare notes (fears), etc!

    Thanks

I wish I could be joining you... Instead, I will be hiking from the Delaware Water Gap to home close to Waywayanda.

    Good luck to you both!

Does it count that I was born in NJ and moved to Texas when I was 16? Funny, I am still referred to as a Yankee down here and my NJ friends call me a redneck! I can't wait. Either way I am starting NOBO on Aoril 6th.

Not a thru-hiker but I am a displaced NJ native (now in VA). Since I visit my family in NJ quite often, I plan to try finishing NJ SOBO this year. Day hikes, loops, biking between trail heads, out and backs and maybe an over-night backpack or two. Less than 50 miles to go. So far, I have totally enjoyed the trail in NJ. Sorry about being off topic.
