A little behind the herd

I hiked the northern ~half of the Florida Trail last year around this time; I'm flying to Miami tomorrow to hike the southern half.

Schedule constraints kept me from the kickoff event earlier this month, so I reckon I'll be 10 or 11 days behind whatever mini "herd" there is on the FT.

You will be getting here just in time for the best weather. It's been a very strange weather year, with a lot of rain in the dry season, and a lot of heat that is normally gone by November.
