    Smile Flip-Flop Journals

    Good Morning Everyone,

I have been scouring the internet for successful Flip Flop thru hiker journals from years past and have only found a few. Obviously this is to be expected due to the lower percentage of Flip Flop thru hikes, but I figured I would cast a wide net. If anyone has or knows of any of the aforementioned journals, I would greatly appreciate it as my wife and I intend on flip flopping in 2017 (HF-Katahdin, HF-Springer) and would love to read about past experiences.

    Thank you!

The ATC has been interested in tracking the success of flip flop thru hikers. You might want to contact them to see if they have journal links or other information from successful flip-floppers that they can pass on to you.
Remote for detachment, narrow for chosen company, winding for leisure, lonely for contemplation, the Trail beckons not merely north and south, but upward to the body, mind, and soul of man.

    Thanks much all!

WillisLax - I'll definitely keep track. I'm sure you've got to be chomping at the bit so close to your start!

I could leave now, just waiting on my tent from Zpacks! I wonder how much sleep I will not get in the next few weeks.

I miss Alaska, was up at Clear AFS for a year, and did some TDY time in Fairbanks and Anchorage.
