Before Christmas Amazon had them ten for $4. My biggest concern was that they might be five years old with nearly expired batteries.

A "real" photon has a replaceable battery. Countycomm dot com has cheap knockoff both with and without clips. They're serviceable, and I usually have a bunch in drawers around the house.

Search Amazon for "Photon Freedom" to find the best price and buy it.

For late spring, summer and early fall it is the only light I carry when daylight hours are long. I carry a couple of spare batteries (Cr2032) but with judicious use 1 set will last 2 weeks easily for most of my needs.
