Thread: Helton Creek

    Default Helton Creek

I spent a cold day exploring Helton Creek located near Neel's Gap in the ChattahoocheeNational Forest south of Blairsville, Georgia. A lot of bushwhacking on this one. This video follows the creek from its headwaters to the falls. To view in the highest quality, select the “HD” button and 1080p.

    Nice video.

I was over there in the fall. Lots of yellow jackets took some of the fun out of it but pretty falls nonetheless.

That is what is great about winter. No yellow jackets or snakes.

Everything about your video is great - the scenes, the music, the birds. Nice job!

BTW there's also a Helton Creek in Virginia near Damascus.

Thanks for liking it. Yea I know what you mean about creek names. There are three Panther Creeks in north GA and folks are always getting confused.

Very nice video. Good technique, high quality. I understand the time to make a good video--here is a short video I made many years ago (Digital8 camcorder) at High Shoals/Blue Hole in Towns Co. GA.
