    Default Easy Access Points

    Hey y'all!

I have a quick question, and I am hoping someone can help me out!

I have a few friends and family members that would like to hike parts of the trail with me (they are all in great shape so I do not have to worry about them holding me back). I was wondering if any of you guys had some experience with visitors and could tell me of some easy access points to the AT? They will be coming from mostly NC and CO, so NC is covered. Any ideas for the Northern half? Probably near a bigger airport so the flights aren't as expensive and a place where there may be bus or shuttle access so a car rental can be avoided.

Thank so much in advance!! I am flip-flopping in late May, starting in Harper's Ferry and heading north then coming back down to head to Springer.

    See you guys out there!!

This page from the ATC site has lots of transportation options (train, plane, bus). Have you looked over these?
