    Default Rock Gap Shelter

    According to a TJ posting, Rock Gap Shelter (approx. mile 103) is out of commission. A tree fell on it on the evening of February 25 and completely destroyed the shelter. http://www.trailjournals.com/entry.cfm?id=521977

    From another TJ entry, apparently it was just the covered patio next the the shelter that was destroyed. Another photo here: http://www.trailjournals.com/photos....1005218&back=1 Lucky that no one was injured.

    Wonder if the shelter is closed?
