When I recently took my 62 to England, British Airways suggested I put it in oversize. It worked like a charm and got there in perfect shape. Definitely put *everything* inside the bag though. They'll have an issue with hanging things.

I am flying into Atlanta too shipping everything but my electronics. I am staying at the lodge, called ahead and they told me how to ship it. Like knowing my gear will not get lost or pilfered through especially since the new terrorists attacks are at the airports and bus stations. But this is my opinion......I am sure others have better ideas. For me this trip is business and pleasure so I could not take chances.
    Good luck...have an awesome hike!
