I have the Regular quilt/Convert. It's perfect for me with some extra room. I am 5'5 and 125#. Sounds like you'd be better off going with the wide.

I am 6' with a 49" chest, size 12 shoes. I prefer the Rev reg/wide for a couple reasons, weight penalty is pretty minimal for extra width, allows extra clothing to be worn to bed (might be a big deal if you're surprised by the weather in the 40 deg quilt), footbox is roomy when zipped up, EE's strap system allows one side to be open and you can tuck the extra width under your torso as temps drop thru the night..
The extra width provides a lot of flexibility going from a open blanket to a tight bundle (straps allow excess material to be tucked under both sides). On a Rev 40, 850 fill, it's an extra $5.00 and .7 ounces between regular and wide.
I'm a stomach and side sleeper. For any average guy I would say you should go for the wide.
I am side to side rotisserie sleeper.
exactly opposite. typically the outer quilt is the lighter of the two and you want it to be both wider and longer. this is so not to compress the insulation of the inner.
in any case, you won't need a long or wide as your primary quilt. at your size you could probably get by very well with two reg width and maybe make the outer one a long.
