Awesome! I've seen "trail art" 1,000 times. Always think it's beautiful. I love small rock cairns, smiley faces, and the various AT markings. I'm goofy like that....

This is trail art in my neck of the woods---
I was backpacking a NC ridge and in a wilderness area off-limits to horses. Of course I followed tremendous horseback rider sign to this open campsite atop a 5,000 peak. And they left their calling card.
Here's some other wonderful tree art put in by rednecks girdling a tree with the name Levi.
I think the best tree art is the clearcut put in by the forest service in a designated wilderness area. This one is atop Hangover Mt in the NC Slickrock wilderness. My dog can't believe it and wants revenge.
