Sueaky Update...

Another Squeaky update from Dr Bob. Looks like the Smokies may have slowed him down although he should still finish before the New Year.

For those interested in Squeaky's progress, his Mom just called me. Squeaky
spent last night at Fontana and is having a tougher time of it here towards
the end. His feet are swollen from being cold and wet constantly. His
parents drove from Amicalola to Fontana and met him in the middle of the
night to bring him some things. They'll meet him again next at Winding
Stair Gap near Franklin. It now looks like he will finish on Thurs, Dec
29th. Nat'l Geographic has been in contact with his Mom and a photographer
of theirs will be there when he finishes. She said that "a photographer
from the PCT" will also be there, but I'm not sure exactly what that means.

Think positive thoughts for this tough young man!
