WHie House Landing Re-opening?

I saw a recent reference by Water Rat alluding to that WHL would be reopening this year. Out of curiosity, there doesn't seem to be anything on the web. Given its popularity and location I am surprised that it they are reopening that it would get lot more PR.

It had been for sale for awhile but the listing eventually lapsed.

TJ has mentioned White House Landing re-openning a couple of times. Most recently in the updated info thread for SOBO thru-hikers (it's around here somewhere...) I had to go and look in my AWOL Guide for 2016 and sure enough - There they are. I haven't located a website for them, but they do seem to be on Facebook and their phone number is 207-745-5116. That seems to be their preferred method of communication.

Found the thread I referenced in my post above. It was the "Food Drop in 100 MW Question" thread. If you scroll down to 3/18/16, you will see where TJ aka Teej says they are going to be open during the 2016 season.

As much as I hate Face Book, I'll still tell you to check theirs.

I don't belong to or use Facebook so that's how I missed it. I hope they have figured out a way to earn a living at it. I expect it was tough winter to restart the business.
