Default Ride from Greensboro, Knoxville, Cherokee or Gatlinburg to Clingman's this weekend

Hello, I'm in Greensboro NC recovering from an injury and need to get back to Clingman's Dome hopefully this weekend 16 April 16. I would like a ride from Cherokee, Gatlinburg, Knoxville or even here in Greensboro NC. I can pay cash but I will take any advice on the best way to get back to the trail. Thanks!

Greyhound it from Gboro to Asheville. Then you can get a shuttle to the Smokies.

Thank you. I got a ride to Cherokee and now need one from there up to Clingman's Dome. I'm trying to research shuttles that are located in and around Cherokee. Thanks again for the advice .

if you are in cherokee----and stand out near the entrance to the Park----or at the exit of the visitors center----or near smokemont campground-----------that is an easy (at least it was for me a couple of times) hitch...

just have patience and stick out your thumb and someone will give you a ride....

or if you dont have patience, i believe there is a taxi service in cherokee that would do it.............but it would cost ya some...

personally, i would try the hitch....
