Any volunteers to carry a 400 lb. bear for 8 miles?

How many more instances of sleeping humans getting sampled by bears would it take in order to cause a notable decrease in traffic on the AT?

So much human bias...humans thinking they are the only earthlings, humans who are constantly thinking more highly of themselves than the ought,....How about thinning out the disease causing unnatural human concentration human herd that causes SO SO MANY problems? Look around! open your eyes. Expand your view beyond your own species' desires or your own group.

Thanks Rick for the link to the hiker's story! Insightful. All the other blah blah on the subject should be filed under: Fundamental Attribution Errors.

Maybe the hiker's feet smelled like cheese

The reason most humans think highly of themselves is because they are at the top of the chain.

From what I hear, they were still looking as of Friday...

apparently they collared another bear and checked its DNA and not matching, let it go.....

What Walter said. Unfortunately, that will not happen so the non-voting bears will pay the price.

Easy to blame the Bears....they have nowhere else to go....
therefore limit the people, they can go somewhere else

And the rangers had been specifically telling people that a female with cubs has been visiting the camp...

You could get things started by staying out of the woods.
