    Default Shuttle from Damascus to Grayson Highlands

    I'm parking my car at Grayson Highlands in July and doing a short section to Damascus. # 1: Is car safe at Grayson for a few days? #2 Anyone aware of a shuttle service that will pick up car in Grayson and drive to Damascus #3 How about recommendation for shuttle from Damascus to Grayson? Thanks

    Park in damascus and get shuttled to grayson. Hike back to car is the sensible thing to do.

    Lone Wolf here is known to shuttle folks.

    I used Uncle Mike for a shuttle from Partnership to TN 91. He's the best. On the ATC shuttle list.

    I did this section as a "keyswap" hike with a NOBO friend after Traildays. There is an overnight parking lot in Grayson (for a $$), but I would park in Damascus and get Lone Wolf or someone else to shuttle you. Consider lengthening the section a bit, as the shuttle may even be cheaper/faster by avoiding the winding park roads, and it avoids the hike in distance from the park.

    PM me. it's cheaper to go to fox creek and hike 40 miles than to go to massie gap in the park and hike 30 miles
