Liked it. Crunchy cheese. NOT Cheese Doodle like! It has a decent higher cal/oz ratio without the water wt of reg cheese.
Ingredients: Cheese.

That's interesting. I could see some uses for that!
And of course they had to put that silly "gluten free" symbol on it for the people who think dairy comes from wheat.
That must be why it's $2.50 an ounce. It's expensive to take the gluten out of cheese.

$40 / pound. Ouch! And it won't melt.
I'll stay with wet and heavy Cabot.

Costco sells a *much* larger bag of Whisps cheese crisps for $10. Maybe a bit big for a resupply box but you could split it into 2 or 3. They're amazing.
Tough to beat Cabot seriously sharp cheddar...looks interesting though...

We've eaten this before. If you've ever put cheese in the oven to make cheese crips, that's a little what these taste like. They're pretty good, but also pretty pricy. I never thought about these as a hiking item- brilliant!

For those inclined to make their own...probably cheaper than $40 a pound.

I've taken it on several backpacking trips. Hits the spot when I want a little bit of something with taste and salt. I'll continue taking it.

I've seen this for sale at Starbucks. I've tried the Gouda, wasn't bad.
