I received a note from Marcia (Roy and Marilyn's daughter) that the family is having a Celebration of Life for Roy at the Becket Chapel, just down the road from the blueberry farm, on sunday July 7th 1-3pm. She would love to have hikers and volunteers who knew Roy, or visited them at the farm, attend.

I passed the Cookie ladys home last September. I am so glad i got to spend some time with them before Roy passed on. A true legend of the trail this home and couple have been. Condolences to Roys family

Marylin (the Cookie Lady) will be relocating to Indiana to live with her family. We will miss her nearly half-century of support of AT hikers of all kinds. She was a part of the Trail here in Mass. If you would like to connect directly with her family, let me know and I can send you her daughter's email. See earlier in this thread regarding the death of her husband, Roy.

The property is up for sale. Please do not camp in the yard this coming season.

Does Guthook and the AWOL AT Guide know? She was listed in the 2018 AT Guide and I'm pretty sure she is in Guthook.

Not super frequent, but enough to keep an eye on things. Cosmo emailed me directly, which is the best way to get me to update things :-)
