canister stove for 2 hikers

hey guys long time no post..My son and I are starting the preliminary planning for a CT thru next July. Any issues finding fuel canisters in the usual resupply towns?

thanks..After doing a little math looks like a hiker would only need to find 1 replacement canister on a thru hike anyway. I did the Long trail without cooking. I did carry a cat stove to make coffee or warm broth, I think only used it 3 times though. I feel like I'd enjoy hot meals on the CT especially if it's rainy.
