    Default Upgrading an old friend

I've an EMS pack that's at least a dozen years old and I still love it. It just fits.

What it lacks are some of the more modern convenience features my Osprey day-pack has like the little cinch cords for my trekking poles and the pockets on the hip belt. I've been querying the oracle (running google searches) but I I'm not finding anyone who sells external pockets that can mate with a pack or those little elastic cords.

I'm probably not phrasing the query correctly.

    Can anyone help?

Mountain Laurel Designs may have some pocket like devices: http://www.mountainlaureldesigns.com...x.php?cPath=46
    As does Zpacks: http://www.zpacks.com/accessories.shtml
Plaid is fast! Ticks suck, literally... It’s ok, bologna hoses off…

Zpacks has those features. You will pay more, but get a great lightweight pack.
