    Just don't heat the water to boiling. Run a test at home with your microwave.

    Nalgene bottles are heavy compared to what most people here carry but for wintery weather they are gold to me.
    I prefer the 16 oz over the 32 oz. Literally Half the weight.
    Holds enough hot water to warm my bag, great for hot coco and the right size for my breakfast.
    I carry a 20 oz gatoraid bottle if temps are above freezing.
