Default What sections can a hammock not be used on the CT

I'm planning to use a hammock and possibly mail a sleeping pad to use where there are no trees, can anyone tell me what sections I would have to go to ground on the CT? Thanks.

The big tundra walk begins in Seg 22 and ends in Seg 24 (miles 366-399) It depends upon your hiking speed, but it can be done with only one night above treeline in Seg 23. Cuba Gulch is at mile 385 and is fairly well protected from the elements. It is midway, more or less in the treeless section. If you camp there you can make it to trees in Elk Creek the next day.

Honestly as long no as you planned accordingly shouldn't be hard.....I only camped above tree line once and once at Hancock trailhead where there wasn't trees.
