To earn the GA Thru-Hiker Patch, what are the limitations/requirements as far as the time frame in which it is completed? If I hiked the Georgia section in smaller sections within a year for example, could I still earn the patch?

From the GATC..."If you've hiked the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail, you're eligible for a Georgia Thru-Hiker patch!"
Trail Miles: 4,523.3
AT Map 1: Complete 2013-2021
AT Map 2: 279.4
Sheltowee Trace: Complete 2020-2023
BMT Map: 52.7
Pinhoti Trail Map: 31.5
So, there's no time limit? I read somewhere that there is a 1-year time limit.
There is no time limit, just as there is no time limit for the ATC. I know the patch is called a thru hiker patch but it reads "90 Miler". I believe the 1 year is a non official concept to designate a "Thru Hiker" AT completion vs. an AT completion done over time in sections.
Oops..typo. "80 Miler"
Sorry for the zombie thread… just did GA last week and ordered my patch. Beautiful state!
Plaid is fast! Ticks suck, literally... It’s ok, bologna hoses off…
