Has anyone hiked this loop? I see that the Valley trail was closed last year but re-opened this summer. Looks like a very short hike to the shelter with the bulk of it on Day 2 back down the valley. Any word on camping opportunities close to the 3rd peak or intersection of the AT and the Valley trail?
