    Default State-by-state elevation gain/loss?

Hi. I Googled this, but the link to WhiteBlaze (http://whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?t=31293) no longer works.

I'd like to find information about the total elevation gain/loss per state, NOBO and SOBO. I have a guide to the Colorado Trail that specifies gain/loss by "segment" — would love to have something like this for the AT, too, if it's available.

Just finished my 2016 thru hike this week, GA>VT<ME.

    Thanks.

Well, today is grand day. I still have a long way to go to break even with you sir. TU for all the awesomeness you share here. I owe much of the wonderful experiences on the SHT to your beta and opinions.

Thanks for all the references. This is very helpful.

Lucky for me - or not? - I descended Old Blue SOBO, but I slackpacked that brutal half mile up Wildcat Ridge NOBO. Yikes!
