Default Dose Justus Creek have water now?

Looking at starting at horse gap and going to hwy60 this weekend. Dose anyone know if Justus Creek has water flowing? I know a lot of places in GA are drying up from the drought. I went up to Cloudland Canyon this last weekend and Hemmlock Falls and they were dried up.

Don't worry about Justus. I camped out there last weekend. Plenty of water.

It is very dry here in Georgia though. Severe drought.

Justus Creek, Blackwell Creek, Gooch Mtn Shelter, and Gooch Gap are all running on that section of trail.

    Enjoy your hike!

Just left Springer Sunday and am Hiawassee now. It's dry but manageable unless you're hiking 8-10 miles a day in which case you'll need to be careful.

There is also a creek 8 miles south of Neels Gap that was riunning pretty good yesterday.

Drought on the AT this year! Does that mean pouring cats and dogs next year?

Matthew should have the drought corrected soon enough.

Unfortunately, hurricane Matthew will have zero impact on or drought here in WNC/North Georgia. We are predicted to get no rain this weekend.

That's bizarre. But the sharp 270 degree right turn is now showing up on tv.
Give it time. The storm could do a 360 and dampen the mountains.
