    Photographer's Point, a sore point for me. I backpacked a large format camera up there and waited for good light... and waited and waited for 6 hours. It never came so we left at about 6 pm, not having taken any photos .... only to see outstanding orange light appear at 8 pm down at the parking lot on the road to Pinedale.

    Better not to shoot at all than to take a shot in poor lighting.

    Note to self:
    Be prepared to set up camp at Photographer's Point.
    I know I've done the same thing. Left too soon. Or worse, wasted the good light getting set up.
