Nope. I'm serious as a stroke.
Why squander a month of good trail conditions?

There is still a lot of snow above 5000 feet in WA. There are also a lot of trails below 5000 feet in WA. I went for a short slide down an icy slope a few days ago on the PCT. That reminded me how much hiking in snow sucks. The snow is really compact now too. Its hard to kick steps. The ground around the snow is very saturated and unstable so going up and around or down and under the snow is pretty dangerous. It is crazy how on a steep slope even ten feet of snow can be almost impassable.

I use backcountry navigator with accuterra maps and I'm able to see near every trail and forest road. Due to the snow I gave up on doing most any section north of walker pass until late July. So now I just meander. I bail if I hit snow.
