Thread: Anyone in NH?

  1. #1

    Question Anyone in NH?

Starting my NOBO hike in April this year.
Anyone in NH or Maine maybe? I train in the Whites completing my 48, 4000 footer. Been solo hiking exclusively, it would be nice to have some company every once in awhile!

I'm in MA. As it turns out my winter hiking partner is still recovering from an injury. I'm usually up for a day hike / peakbagging hike every few weeks. It's a 2 hr. drive from home to Franconia Notch trailheads. More like 3 hrs. to get to trailheads on 302 or on 16 (Presi. range.)

    Hi OutdoorsygirlNH

I grew up in Gilford. Our house was next to Gunstock's entrance. LHS Grad many years ago.
Welcome to Whiteblaze. Good hiking to you on your AT experience this coming April. Would you like most of the AT map set as a Christmas Present? Free of course. I will be in Alton tomorrow, and if you want them, Let me know. 207-364-6644 or IM me on this site.

If you are in Alton tomorrow if you dropped them off at Irwin Marine in the Bay someone there can get them to me. That would be fantastic!

to White Blaze! You might try joining the "Trail 4K Challenge Group." Allison Driscoll is out of NH and runs the group. Many members live in NH and are looking for hiking partners.

I belong to that group! I'm tried some meet ups but I have not found someone about the same pace or ability level as myself. But I'll keep looking

A group of us may be hiking up Passaconaway from Kancamagus Hwy this Sunday at 9AM. If it is on your list of 4K to do and if you see a black Hyundai Elantra then say hi. Likewise if you give a hint of how we can recognize you we'll reciprocate :-)

I have not hit that one yet, I just might do that, I had not finalized my Sunday hiking plans yet. I have a Scion Tc with vanity plates, you can't miss me I hike with a Australian Blue Heeler named Sugaree!
