Hiking trip to the superstitions, I stopped in a costco in Phoenix and looking around found carbon fiber hike poles for $30. I usually hike with carbon fiber black diamonds. The costco poles looked good so I got them and used in the desert. Back home I weighed them and the they were 7.7 oz each versus the high buck black diamonds which were 9.5 oz. YMMV.

the cascades? that comes up here a lot. Fiance has a set. Pretty solid so far, no complaints
