It's good to see this hot button issue from the prospective of the hiker. If you ask the "powers that be" like the ATC or the trail clubs you get the opposite opinion. The condo association put up the sign, "don't feed the ducks" without asking the opinion of the ducks. The truth is that all thru hikers.... love trail magic.
