Search their website for "backpacking tent" and you'll find quite a few options under $50, some of them clones of popular brand names.

Don't forget amazon they do sell BA I got a pump sack from them.
Hiking the AT is “pointless.” What life is not “pointless”? Is it not pointless to work paycheck to paycheck just to conform?.....I want to make my life less ordinary. AWOL

Backcountry.com is (or used to be) the parent company of steepandcheap.com I've ordered from both, many times, without issue.

Impressive on how manufacturing technology keeps reducing prices.

That looks like a really cool tent but I don't carry hiking poles, so I prefer that my tent have all the poles with it.

I have used BackCountry for a few purchases. So far so good! The right item, decent price and fast delivery. Can't ask for much else.

Mountain Laurel Designs has a great video on their facebook page walking through some tests of knockoff tents. Not very encouraging about their quality.

Default Anyone have a Zpacks Hexamid Solo-Plus - comments?

I am seriously considering buying the Zpacks™ Hexamid Solo-Plus Tent. It only weighs 17.7 oz and is big enough to keep all your gear inside. Anyone have this tent? Comments?

I just discovered Campsaver last night and really love the site. I bought a BA Copper Spur UL 1, using their 20% off outlet items code (Outlet20), for $243...AND, it included a free footprint.
