Fox Creek parking?

Hey guys.

Any updates on the parking area by 603 in virginia? It's the fox creek parking. I heard there was a bunch of break ins and such but that was a few years ago.

I parked my car there twice in the last two months (one night and two nights) - no problems.

I read a lot of those reports when I did a loop hike to Trail Days last year. I parked at Grindstone Campground a little way down the road for a small fee $5 a night I think. It's a state campground so that seemed a little more secure especially being gone for seven days.

I hiked past it and took note that it holds 10 cars, and was FULL. Didnt see any cops taking reports.
That said, I was parked in the Grayson Highlands backpacking lot.

I have never heard of issues here, it does hold about 10-15 cars and as well right down the road less then a mile is a campground of sorts you may want to check into if you feel it would be safer
