Meeting him a couple of yrs ago on one of his ascents on a day of intermittent rain he shared some food and consoled me with inspiration as I was huffing and puffing resting on a knee. He did not look his age. We got around to his age. When telling me he was in his 70's I was astonished. TU Sam.
