Default Prepared F. D meals Brar Hang?

The various freeze dried meals such as Mountain House are sold in what seem to be airtight bags.
Do these need to be hung or otherwise kept away from bears in SNP?

They seem to be b le to be put into the "nicks and crannies" of the backpack.

    Thanks.

My advice, hang them will of your other food / smelly items. It's food. An animal that can track food from a mile away is still likely to smell that food in a plastic bag.

You can recognize bear poop by all the Mountain House (and Snickers and Backpacker Pantry and...) wrappers in it.

Bear's sense of smell is 7 times that of a dog. Ever see a dog hit on a triple wrapped drug package in airport police video? Yeah, hang out. And your toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. Anything that smells.
