I started a thread on shinrin-yoku previously. It's a concept that goes well beyond Japanese culture and far into the past. It is enlightening seeing it from an eastern perspective than the linear minded humans are separated from Nature U.S. western and European philosophy. It's good to get out of rigid national and regional mental underlying comfort and cultural zones as it promotes tolerance, understanding, and a widened perspective rather than just stewing in one''s own little corner.
But are you a certified forest bather?
