Default Shelters on The Colorado Trail

Lots of hikers believe that unlike the AT, the CT has no shelters. No so. I know of 3 free shelters right on the trail. There is the official lean-to, the yurt which is 1 day west past Spring Creek Pass, and the free cabin on the top of Marshall Pass. Does anybody know of others? (Actually the yurt will accept donations). APPLE

there are some scattered miners' cabins here and there, in varying shapes of disrepair.

People call those "Hantavirus Hiltons." Stay at your own risk.

"here and there" : Not often enough or sound enough to be of any real use.
Here, as opposed to There, at the top of Elk Creek in Colorado. Read the photo caption.

I don't know 100% but the yurt near spring creek isn't at least - always - free. In the fall it is available to hunters which the 3X I've attempted to stay there in the fall was totally commandeered by this user group.

That's reasonable and customary. Big game hunting in Colorado is a major industry. Backpackers enjoy the spillover benefits.
