    When I was in Scouts, we dug a 8-10" deep hole with dimensions of 2' x 3'. When you did your business you shoveled some dirt on top of it. Another thing we did was skim the grass off first so we could make it look a little more undisturbed.

    I was going to say, with all due respect that seems like an awful lot of work to do just to go pee for one person.

    Contact Center for Disease Control and see what they say about it. I'm thinking pee where the UV rays can kill the virus. virus in urine?? Maybe??

    I offer with all due respect that I can see how that can be read. No this is a group latrine we dug to keep the smell way from the camp site. The scouts taught me a lot of things about my country, my religion and the outdoors. I was fortunate to have a large camping area close to where I lived.
