    By '83 I was long gone from RaChaCha (except to visit.) I was getting to know the mountains of NH pretty well but walking the whole AT hadn't crossed my mind.

    Theyve digitized some newspapers back to pre civil war , and text shows up in searches.

    Good article. Not much has changed in some ways. Numbers obviously.
