Out of curiosity, what's the story? How did you end up with 4 of these that never got used?

cspan, good question i just stocked up over time. I've gone thru 3 packs over the years, & have 4 remaining... IMO the external frame pack, especially the Super Tioga was the perfect pack for hiking the Appalachian Trail. loved all the pockets and how the pack rode on my hips and not my shoulders. easy to pack and unpack. quick to camp and quick to pack up. thanks for asking. have a good one...

Darn, I just bought one retail. But I'll vouch for the awesomeness of this pack, if anyone else is considering it.

My old Kelty was even more super---called the ULTRA TIOGA!!! Rare and unknown to most Kelty enthusiasts.

Do you still have any of these packs? What year were they made?

I've always got my eye out for one of those...that and the various forms of their spectra packs. My "winter" pack is a 6500 white cloud. Would love to run across an Ultra in newish shape.
