    Default AT Data

Hey gang, odd question, maybe, but does anyone here know where I can get my hands on a spreadsheet of key milestones along the trail? (road crossings, shelters, towns, etc?)

This database right here at WB has shelters -- it's a year old so it is for 2016 rather than 2017, but there are very few differences:

    https://whiteblaze.net/forum/shelters-2016.php

And this resource has the 2017 numbers with all major towns and road crossings in addition to shelters, though it is not in database form:

And each of them is free!

I've done 15.2% of the AT. It was all n ME and NH so that means I'm almost done!

    Awesome information!
Is there an App for my I-phone that provides location of water and shelters?

I always say there are two halves of the AT. The first half is Georgia thru Vermont, and the second half is New Hampshire and Maine.

Works when wet, and you can add free-form notes as you go.

I used a 2003 spreadsheet in 2004 to plan out resupplies and use as a daily data book. Have we not advanced in the last decade or is Excel dead?
