    Default Hall mountain lean to

One of the damper older looking shelters in the area, from the looks of the inside it does not get a lot of sun shine inside. Plenty of established tent locations around it. hall mtn lean.jpg

There are indeed several nice tent spots in this area. Hiked to this lean-to on my August 2017 section hike with the intent to stay here in one of the tent spots. The water was pretty sketchy as it was a stagnant pool. That along with the "vibe" I was feeling at the time just made me want to move on. There is a lot of nice tenting real estate another 1.5 miles NOBO in Sawyer Notch, and ample water available from Sawyer Brook.
