Default Super Random: AT Map at Amicalola Lodge

Again, this is super random but...

Does anyone know how the lodge was able to obtain that monstrously large/long AT map in the lobby? How old is that thing? I have to imagine it was just custom printed on one long continuous sheet of material, right? No lie, I really want a map as long as that one even if I don't have a home big enough to hold it. Anyways, was just a curious question that I couldn't find the answer to online. Thanks!

When my husband was in architecture school he and a buddy did a graphical report on The History of Bridges. They had it printed on a continuous roll at a blueprint shop (a disappearing breed).
