My Kidde fire extinguisher has a metal handle, and my beard is thriving. Coincidence? I think not.

Absolutely not, a consumer size kiddie could barely put out a campfire and their plastic handled extinguishers are apparently under a recall.

To be safe you really need an ansul suppression system mounted to the top of your pack. I like to carry an appropriately sized class K extinguisher with me as well in case my backcountry deep fryer overheats.

Who is setting kiddies alight while hiking? Such depravity I have never seen.

I have one! Was planning to take it hiking with me. Tried drilling holes in it to lighten it up a bit...didn't work out too well.

I was born with my fire extinguisher, but the pressure isn't what it used to be.

I keep my beard short, an ounce of prevention is better than 2 lbs of fire extinguisher!

I had to put out a fire once this way, the anxiety of flow starts and stops was almost unbearable.

Starts and stops are the only way to deal with an electrical fire.

You're supposed to pull, aim, squeeze, and sweep. Are you sure you're squeezing hard enough?
