Default Highest GET points by state

In PA, that would be highest point of Mid State Trail, on not-quite-the-highest summit of Martin Hill, 829 m.

This is higher than any A.T. point between SNP and Mt. Greylock, and for a few degrees of horizon possibly the highest point even to the Arctic Ocean.

Interesting topic. Looks like the highest point of the trail in New York is about 1840ft (561m). Its in the West Hill State Forest just north of Corning.

Source: I scanned around the map at http://www.fltconference.org/trail/g...ap-fullsystem/ Maybe someone else can find a higher point?

The Pinhoti Trail goes pretty close to Mount Cheaha, Alabama's high point at
2,413 feet. When they ask me, I'll tell them the trail should be re-routed to go over the summit.
