    Default Happy Thanksgiving

I appears that I am either the first to post holiday sentiments, or else the previous threads have received no responses. Happy Thanksgiving! If you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, then Happy November 23rd! If you don't celebrate anything, then here's a reminder that it is November 23rd, and that tomorrow is a commercial holiday "Black Friday" which has been pre-empted by another commercial holiday started by the outdoor gear retailer REI commonly known as #OPTOUTSIDE.

Be well. Eat something. Do something outside.

I promise that if you tell me to take a hike, I will!

Happy Thanksgiving! And yes, I will take a hike.
But first we'll eat some tofurkey, mashed taters, sweet taters, blueberry pie, pumpkin pie, apple (birthday) cake, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, rolls, veggie pot pie, breaded mushrooms, and whatever I forgot to list. Oh my, I'm not sure I'll be ABLE to hike!

Just make sure to practice LNT if you're hiking around Great Barrington or Stockbridge

That story is from the 60’s/70’s and led to a Thanksgiving Day song classic. “Alice’s Restaurant”

    Happy thanksgiving to all.

I don't know if it's tradition elsewhere, but our local radio stations have played the full Alice's Restaurant song all day on Thanksgiving for as many years as I can remember.
