Default Anyone know the hiker trail name "RAVEN"?? I need a photo.

    Hey gang,

back here in the office today after a most exciting Gathering that I have attended in the last four years.

I went to download phots from my Camera and found that my memory stick is corrupt. I need to get in touch with the male hiker who goes by the name of RAVEN that was at THE GATHERING this weekend because I saw him take photos that were of the exact thing that I took photos of.

Anyone know this person? Does he go by RAVEN on here?? Contact information??

    Thanks gang.

Probably more than one "Raven". Is it the guy who hiked in 2003 ...shaved head with a tattoo on it ?? If so, I might have a pic burried somewhere.

Twofiddy, check your PMs - I sent you some personal info re: the Raven that was everywhere with a camera this year at ALDHA's gathering.

There's another Raven from Ann Arbor, Michigan who thru-hiked in 2004. Mid-40's, 6', thin, amateur botanist. Hikerhead and I have pictures.

No, different Raven. The Raven he's looking for must be the official photogragher for ALDHA. They have him pinned down in the post above.

Default It may be possible to recover your photos.

Back when I used memory sticks, I had a similar problem. I was able to recover most of the photos by running scandisk on the memory stick. Just put the memory stick in your computer's slot, right click on the icon that represents the memory stick, an click on "scan." It worked for me.

I have had the same problem with a microdisk.

    Yea,

Left the sticks on the dash in the Jeep and they got defrosted for 400 miles home and then frozen for 2 days.

BOTH ARE TOAST. RECOVERY did not work.

ALDHA PHOTO GUY is the Raven I'm looking for.

    Thanks

    Otto's dog was taking photos? I know he's a great dog, but that's crazy. . .
