    Does anyone know if the Cascades have frozen over or are close to freezing over?

    You do know that this is a river. And that rivers on the South rarely freeze

    I lived in the area for 7 years many years ago and hiked there often. I would bet they are frozen. They are spectacular when frozen

    Probably true in Florida, not exactly correct elsewhere in the South. Picture of the Cascades last month.
