I'm with you, but unfortunately my boss doesn't see it that way.
I take breaks at work looking at airline logistics to the trail, looking up rohlands AT by pictures, and looking at past AT trips I have takin. Along with walking 3 miles a day at work

Yes, it's a common solution, and a very good one.
I relieved my stress at work by retiring.
When my job doesn't require actual work, and thankfully it rarely does, I kill the time by perusing various trail journals. Most these are pure excrement, but a few help me dream away the hours. The head honcho also hikes and has a similar problem, so punishment is rare.
